Fairly accurate article; I went through divorce at 50 after 24 years of marriage. This is how it worked in the end;
She went back to finish her degree while I helped pay her share of the household.
She got a new job with larger salary.
She got breast implants.
She became a Yoga Instructor.
She accused me of having an affair and said she wanted a divorce.

As she walked out she said ,“I know it hurts but I am no longer in love with you and have not been for a long time.”

When I started dating someone her response was; “I can’t believe you would date someone so soon after we separated!”🤯

Thankfully, I got remarried to a beautiful woman in 2016 and am more in love with her everyday.
