I agree with all the points in the article as a general rule.

Many things I have done have not been easy. In fact they were damn hard. I moved across country after college leaving all the family and friends behind.

I accepted a position with Amazon that started a week after I was married which meant my new wife and I would be separated by a distance of 350miles.

We ended up living a long distance marriage for the first five years.

However as hard as it was I stuck as much as I could to a plan and a goal. Of course there were adjustments along the way but in the end we achieved the goal we established at the start.

Set the goal, do the hard work to achieve the goal and enjoy the results.
