I am a Boomer who has told anyone, young and old to plan for the future like your life depends on it. I am not a financial advisor however I knew what it was like to be poor. To actually live on hamburger helper and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Every generation has those who for whatever reason fail to save. More so, fail to work hard, to grind, to work early mornings and late nights, to do whatever it takes to make enough to save.
I see those TickTock videos of young girls with Botox lips, hair colored and styled, tats covering their arms. How much did all that cost? Yet there they are whining about how expensive it is to live and having to actually leave their parents home to go to work.
If you are in your twenties to fifties and not saving 15 percent then you are going to be behind the curve. I will tell you that the ad saying you can retire on $500K is a lie!
This is a wake up call to those laughing, you are going to be that person picking cans and bottles out of the dumpster if you don’t wake up now and do whatever it takes to plan for the future.
