I can so relate to this article that Sean has written, and I am sure I am not the only one.

I am hooked on politics, it’s in the genes. My Grandfather was a Senator. 50% of the programs on my recorder are news related. I am obsessed with what is happening in Ukraine. I am pulling for Ukraine like some pull for their favorite sports team. The consequences are far greater when lives are lost and changed forever.

Went through Divorces and now feel like every detail was shared with the world or far too many people that should not have been told. I am now grateful that I am in the right place in time with someone I love dearly.

Retired in September 2021 with a wonderful nest egg that I had socked away. In 2022 I watched it substantially shrink as the stock market was rocked. Thankfully my skill set was in demand and I started consulting to offset the financial loss. Many people who have retired have not been so fortunate.

Friends, I am grateful to have many and a few really good ones. However, I have lost so many over the past five years. I still mourn their loss.

Thanks, Sean for continuing to put out quality work that causes us to all reflect on what we have in this world.

Lastly, I would say here is what truly adds value;

1. Love, if you are fortunate to have that special someone. Demonstrate how valuable they are to you. Support, love, trust, and respect make a good recipe for success.

2. Family, life is finite, do what you can to show your family you care.

3. Focus on, where you want to be next week, next month, in the next ten years from now.

4. Travel, if you can see as much of the world as possible. Experience different cultures and how people live their lives in other places. I promise you will come back with a different perspective.

5. Health, strive to be in the best shape you personally can be that is sustainable.
