I guess the point of the article is the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.

In reality this is what happened in my life. In 2011 my wife asked for a divorce. She said she was not in love with me and she hadn't been for a long time.

We separate and I actually meet someone much younger and start dating her.

My ex wife on the other hand bounces from relationship to relationship. She get jealous and wants me back.

It took me a while to realize that I was much better off without my ex and marry the younger woman.

Where my story is different is that I spoil my new wife. I give her a great life and treat her family with the respect they deserve. We are madly in love and we will live happily ever after.
