I had done keto and had positive results and tried the carnivore diet for a short period and found it was not good for me.

Keep in mind that anyone doing a diet or lifestyle change should have a blood work up and consult with their doctor.

I have chronic kidney disease and high protein diet is not the best for someone with this condition.

I am the type of individual that always want to win. I told the Doctor when I could out that I had CKD that I could beat it. He said no one beats it. They either maintain or die.

So since 2017 I have maintained and had way less pain by watching what I eat and intense fitness program, but my fitness was intense before CKD so that didn’t change.

My main point is a high protein diet is not good for someone with kidney or liver issues.

“Red meat is a valuable source of essential amino acids and micronutrients for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Red meat intake may lead to elevated production of uremic toxins and increased cardiovascular risk. High red meat intake is associated with increased risk for progression of CKD.”
