I have been in fitness my entire life and when I hit 60 years old, I felt like I hit a wall. I am as most people tell me still in better shape than 80 percent of the men out there. In my mind, I am not comparing myself to others, but the shape I was in one or two years ago.

Rob is right; It’s 80 percent diet at 60 and older however it was also 80 percent diet before age 60.

I exercise five to six times a week in the gym and eat a fairly healthy diet however my weight keeps climbing. The minute I say I need to lose five in a week I somehow gain six pounds.

What I realize is that I need to do more intermittent fasting to get down to the weight I feel I should be for my age and height. I need to reduce my sugar intake; I swear the devil invented sugar.

I need to increase my cardio compared to lifting weights which use to be easier before age 60 and I have also noticed that I have less energy which makes doing all of the above more difficult.
