I have lost 20 pounds since March. I am Catholic so I decided that I would have one meal a day through lent. Occasionally I made a protein drink in the morning after I went to the gym.
I still run 2-3 times a week and work out at the gym 4-5 times a week.
I have chronic kidney disease so much of the calorie dense foods you mention I am restricted from eating.
As for fruit; berries are my mainstay along with apples.
I have cut out bean, brown rice, wheat and dairy.
I have blood work twice a year to monitor my kidneys and my recent lab results were the best the have been in eight years!
