I worked for Amazon as a senior manager at a fulfillment center. I completely understand your points and concerns. We have all heard the horror stories and at corporate they do have it significantly better.

You are right that no one deserves the money that Tim Cook makes. Their does need to be equitable distribution of pay.

Needless to say that I did not like my time at Amazon and lived my own kind of hell. I left for a much better company and have been very happy and much appreciated for my contribution to the bottom line and personally implemented changes the improved working conditions at the company. This is something that was very difficult to do at Amazon.
