Just because you assume it, does not make it accurate.

The majority of truly wealthy does not really care about the material objects. That is not what causes them to smile when they wake in the morning.

It is that desire to compete and succeed that gets them motivated and drives them to work well after they have made millions and clearly have no financial need to work.

I had friends that were friends with Jeff Bezos parents when he was growing up. They said that they knew early on that Jeff would be successful. There was just something about his personality that desire he had to succeed and compete.

I at one point in my career went to work for Amazon as a Senior Manager and hated it but I still respect Jeff Bezos for his knowledge and drive.
