Most people make opinion based on biased information. They believe an article with sub par information because it supports their own beliefs which again may not be based on accurate facts.

Los Angeles and CA in general perform terrible in general education. My wife from Middle Europe is a Teacher and she has to deal with it every day in a California elementary school with a school district that has a budget over a billion dollars.

US News & World Report: California ranks 23rd for education in its "Best States" rankings. However, California is in the bottom half of the rankings overall.

EdSource: California ranks 35th for education in a report on child well-being.
World Population Review: California ranks 40th for public schools.
Edsource.org: California receives a grade of F for funding effort, B for equity, and D for adequacy in school finance ratings.
California's high school graduation rate is 84.4%, which is the lowest in the country.

Depending on what your major is LSU is a great school for Veterinary Medicine and Architecture.

“Louisiana State University's (LSU) School of Veterinary Medicine is ranked highly for its research funding and graduate program, and is considered one of the top veterinary schools in the United States.”

I worked in Aerospace and worked with engineers who graduated from Berkeley. I thought they were complete idiots.

Like this author who write basically click bait articles. You can parse facts to suit your bias.
