Nice article Corrie.

I am one of those that becomes obsessed with the scale and I can tell you it's not a good thing.

I am not saying it's not important to track your weight but in my experience, as Corrie mentioned a better indicator is if you are running faster, your waist is getting smaller or your lap time is quicker in the pool.

I have always had my best results when I focused on an athletic goal or worked to improve my performance like being quicker on the bike or training to run a 1/2 marathon for example. As they say, you should be burning more calories than you consume to lose weight and that should happen more than a couple of days a week.
