One of the reasons that I married a woman from Europe was the often spoiled behavior of many American women who often expected too much or worse would tell you what they wanted or expected and when you delivered, it was actually something else that they really wanted.

I got exhausted by all the games. I was was already in a stressful career and didn’t need to woman who brought more drama and stress into my life. I have always been kind and caring when it came to how I treated the person I was with, that doesn’t mean I was a wimp. That is who I am and those traits will never go away. I have expectations too, but I keep them realistic. We should not expect more from the one we love than we can’t deliver ourselves.

You look at women with all these expectations from a man and more than likely still single.
