Respect
What you want
Baby, I got it
What you need
Do you know I got it?
All I am asking’
Is for a little respect when you get home (just a little bit)
Hey baby (just a little bit) when you get home
(Just a little bit) mister (just a little bit)”
A big hit for Aretha Franklin the Queen of Soul and also a very important behavior. Respect your coworkers, your neighbors, the police, the waitress, the janitor, the girlfriend the boyfriend, the poor and mentally ill, your parents and the elderly, people of a different race, faith, or nationality.
Everyone deserves respect, even just a little bit. In this world, I believe that people try to overcomplicate things, capitalize on other people's misfortune and mistakes. So many people these days who live in glass houses don't think twice about throwing stones at others.
Society and humans are imperfect and no amount of botox, fillers, or an amazing Instagram account with a million followers is going to change that.
One of the most common reasons for the break up of a relationship is the lack of respect. the lack of sympathy and understanding. This society today is unfortunately about getting what you want even if it means bodies strewn all over the battlefield.
When you start respecting others you will find others will start respecting you in return, even just a little bit.
