Sean, I always enjoy your articles. I don't always agree with some of your viewpoints however, I see balance in your writing and view of life overall. I believe that is missing in many articles I read on Medium.

When I read someone’s work, I think; "would I enjoy being friends with this person?" I know I could easily be your friend although I might be closer to your father’s age. There is lots of common ground. I believe that most people these days tend to focus on differences rather than what they have in common with the other person.

My father and his wife own a Condo in Manastota Key. They have made several friends in the condo complex, and they do what they can to help each other out. Great location when there isn't a hurricane trying to rip the roof off your home or flood your lower level. The day after Ian and I am hoping the best for everyone in Florida.
