So, I just returned from a wine tour over the weekend on the Central Coast. The weekend was fabulous, I had a great time with my wife and friends. I did not abuse my body or my brain and was completely functional the whole weekend.
Today I started a 30-day cleanse which includes tapering back the alcohol intake by 90%.
My issue is I don’t particularly appreciate how I feel when I eat or drink to the point of what I consider too much. All the common symptoms; are weight gain, feeling lethargic, and as you mentioned, brain fog. For me drinking always leads to overeating.
So, I will ignore the closet next to the living area with the glass door filled with bottles of wine. Well at least for 30 days and go forward from there as to how much I drink or how often.
Everyone needs to find their equilibrium in life, and hopefully, that takes place sooner than later.
