When I met my first wife back in the 80's we had common interest and had sex frequently but also had these intense fights. For some reason she was unsatisfied with life.

After we were married the sex was there but the bickering and fighting just increase and the sex went down hill.

We had a child and then sex became a once a month affair.

I was unhappy, I was the one that needed the hugging, the love and the connection that also came with sex.

My now ex just used it as a weapon.

No one should have to go through life not feeling loved or be able to enjoy the pleasures that sex brings in a relationship.
